The song "Freaky Things” is one of the strongest songs that I have recorded so far. It is my first party joint and the collabo with General Pype is so sick “that it’s still in the hospital at the moment … lol”). The concept for “Freaky Things” started when I was young with this very beautiful girl. I broke all laws and principles for her. I could even have killed for her because I liked her that much. I tripled my hustle just to make her feel she had the world under control so at a very young age I was taking up assignments that grown ups didn't want to go near. I recall once on my mother's birthday, I couldn't get her anything because i had spent all my money taking my girl out. Crazy as this may sound, it is my personal experience and one of the concepts behind the song. Another concept for the song comes from a guy I knew who only spends and pops bottles in the club when he sees a very beautiful girl, the kind of girl who can take a man's breath away and then give it back like she was a Goddess. So the song starts from the club and from there building the whole story was the next move because the joint is all about the pretty girls, all the way from their head to their toes, and even to their feelings inside. Initially I was having trouble with getting the chorus recorded so this took some months. We actually recorded the two version of the hook by two different dudes (both of them really good) and then mixed and mastered. At first when we took it out to the clubs to see if people liked it but hook still wasn’t quite right. My home boy "Black Chinese” suggested the hook would “sound right” with had some "Jamo"(Jamaican) flavour and that's how my guy, Pype, came into the picture. Since we are all Lekki artists, Pype came over the studio listened to the joint and right there he recorded, spicing up the hook and dropping 8 bars.
